A huge fixture in the fight to avoid La Liga relegation takes place at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Tuesday evening as Sevilla takes on Las Palmas.

Sevilla vs Las Palmas Betting Tips - BTTS

Sevilla returns to the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán after a disastrous 3:2 defeat at Celta Vigo on Saturday. Despite the hosts being reduced to ten men in the first-half, Joaquín Caparrós's side were unable to capitalise, as their winless run extended to eight-matches.

With tensions boiling over and the squad made to sleep at the training ground on Saturday night, Sevilla’s fans will be demanding a response against a Las Palmas side still stuck in the relegation zone, though just six points behind the hosts.

A miserable run of form, with just two points collected from their last eight league games, leaves the hosts just four points above the drop zone. With tough fixtures against Villarreal and Real Madrid still to come, defeat could prove unthinkable for Los Nervionenses.

A lack of defensive stability remains the biggest issue for the home side. A failure to keep clean sheets has seen BTTS occur in all but one of their last eight home league games. Sevilla scored at least one goal in 15 of their last 17 league matches at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Las Palmas come into Tuesday's fixture still fighting for their La Liga future after a third successive home defeat suffered against Rayo Vallecano on Friday. Out-of-form since the turn of the year, Diego Martínez`s side failed to win 16 of their last 18 games across all competitions.

On the road, Los Amarillos are usually a decent choice to at least get on the scoresheet. Las Palmas scored at least one goal in 11 of 15 previous league games on their travels.

With the hosts under enormous pressure, and vulnerable defensively, I expect Las Palmas to score, and while it's hard to back the home side, they should at least breach a visiting defence which has failed to keep a clean sheet in all but one 17 previous away fixtures.

With all that in mind, BTTS should prove the best bet in what is sure to be a frenetic contest on Tuesday.
