Samsunspor vs Alanyaspor prediction 01.12.2025 | Super Lig

Last season was probably the best Samsunspor season in their history. They finished third, and now the real challenge is to remain among the best Super Lig teams. In the current season, they are again the top four teams and could fight for a place in the European competitions. Samsunspor are in excellent form as they haven't lost in the previous 13 matches. In the last game, Thomas Reis' team played 2-2 on the road in the Conference League against Breidablik. The teams were pretty even in that match, so splitting points was probably the fairest outcome.

Samsunspor didn't lose against Breidablik, but the head coach, Thomas Reis, didn't hide his disappointment after only one point. He said, "We didn't perform badly from the first minute on. However, we conceded a very simple goal. It wasn't our best game. We always attacked from the right flank. We forgot to attack from the left flank. After halftime, we started well and scored. I can call the second goal we conceded a scandal. We didn't act tough enough and conceded a simple goal. Ultimately, we got a point, but that point didn't make us happy."

Samsunspor have big problems with missing players. They will be without Celil Yuksel, Afonso Sousa, Lubomir Satka, Olivier Ntcham, Ebrima Ceesay, Bedirhan Cetin, and Tanguy Coulibaly on Monday against Alanyaspor.

Most pundits expected Alanyaspor to be part of the relegation dogfight this season, but after 13 league rounds, they seem more like a mid-table team. However, Alanyaspor haven't played well recently, winning only one of their last five matches. In the previous game, Alanyaspor lost 2-1 at home against Kasimpasa. The home side deserved more as they ended with 68% ball possession and eight shots more than the opponent. However, Alanyaspor's efficiency problems cost them points. 

Alanyaspor would be an even better side if they find a way to improve their attacking line. Joao Pereira's team is currently the third-worst offensive team in the Super Lig, with only 13 scored goals in 13 matches. 

Izzet Celik, Enes Keskin, Yusuf Ozdemir, and Bedirhan Ozyurt are among Alanyaspor players suspended for betting violations. Besides them, Pereira will also be without injured Buluthan Bulut and Bruno Viana on Monday in Samsun.
