La Liga action continues on Saturday evening as Real Madrid look to maintain their winning start to the season against Mallorca.
Xabi Alonso has enjoyed a decent start to life in the Madrid hotseat, and the hosts will be expected to make it three wins in a row against a Mallorca side still searching for their first win of the season.
Real have had the better of recent encounters between these sides, and will be expected to claim the points again this weekend.

La Liga
Real Madrid and Mallorca have met on 11 occasions since 2019. Real won eight of those games while Mallorca claimed two victories.
Real Madrid team overview
Real Madrid return to the Bernabéu aiming to deliver a stronger performance in front of their fans after an underwhelming 1:0 home win over Osasuna on the opening weekend of the La Liga Season. While the points were secured, the display was very much filed in the "underwhelming" category.
Xabi Alonso's side responded with an improved display in their 3:0 away win at Real Oviedo earlier this week, withKylian Mbappé netting twice and Vinícius Júnior adding a goal and assist.
Los Blancos have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning four of the last five meetings with Mallorca. With a near-full squad and momentum building, they look well placed to extend that record again this weekend.
Usually a reliable choice at the Bernabeu, Los Merengues claimed victories in 17 of 20 La Liga games last season. While Real finished the season in second spot, they finished the campaign with the best home record in the division, losing just two games all season.
Head coach Alonso has several absentees this week. The hosts will be without Antonio Rüdiger, who is suspended. Jude Bellingham and Endrick are both ruled out due to injury, while Ferland Mendy and Eduardo Camavinga are expected to miss out as they continue their recovery from injuries.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to come back into at right-back after being left out of the win at Oviedo.

Mallorca team overview
Mallorca have endured a frustrating start to the new season, failing to win either of their opening two fixtures at home. A 3:0 defeat to Barcelona was followed by a 1:1 draw with Celta Vigo, leaving Jagoba Arrasate’s men on just one point after two games.
A poor run of form since the end of last season has seen Mallorca lose five and win just one of their last eight La Liga fixtures. History is also against Los Bermellones, who have taken just one point from their last five games against Madrid.
Real kept clean sheets in both of their first two wins this season, and in three of their last four wins against Mallorca, and a similar outcome seems likely this weekend.
Head coach Arrasate has no new injury issues ahead of the trip to the Bernabeu.
