Atletico Madrid make the trip to Sevilla after a disappointing goalless draw against Levante last weekend. A lack of quality in the final third ensured another frustrating outcome for Diego Simeone´s side.

Los Colchoneros have not been at their best in recent weeks, with only three wins picked up from eight previous fixtures. Atletico won just one of their four most recent games, including a shock 2:1 home defeat against Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League.

On the road, Simeone's side have struggled to find their best form this season. Atletico won just three of 11 away La Liga games this season. Five of their last seven road fixtures finished with both teams on the scoresheet. 

Head coach Simeone has just two injury worries this week. Antoine Griezmann and Giuliano Simeone are both doubtful to feature at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
