Racing Santander look for a return to winning form when they take on Sporting Gijon on Wednesday evening.
The La Liga 2 leaders return to El Sardinero after back-to-back defeats in the past fortnight while Sporting make the trip north also winless in two after a low-score draw against Deportivo last weekend.
Racing have a strong home record against Sporting, and despite recent results, will be confident of getting back on the winning saddle this week.

Racing Santander team overview
Racing Santander’s bid for La Liga promotion has taken a hit in recent weeks with the hosts falling to successive La Liga 2 reversals in the past two weeks.
Reduced to ten men in a shock 4:0 home defeat against Albacete earlier this month, José Alberto Lopez’s side then fell to a 2:0 reversal at struggling Zaragoza.
Before those surprise setbacks, Racing had won four successive La Liga 2 fixtures. Despite recent disappointments, the hosts remain one point clear at the top of the division.
A strong home record has been the foundation for Santander's La Liga 2 title hopes. Lopez’s men won ten of 16 games played at El Sardinero this season, including four of their five most recent league fixtures.
Head coach Lopez has four confirmed absentees this week. Pablo Ramon is sidelined with a muscle injury, while Juan Carlos Arana is also unavailable due to a similar issue.
Alvaro Mantilla remains out with a muscle problem, while Manex Lozano is another absentee in attack.

Sporting Gijon team overview
Sporting Gijon return to La Liga 2 action after a 1:1 draw against Deportivo last weekend. Despite holding the lead for over an hour after Juan Otero’s early goal, Los Rojiblancos were forced to settle for a point following Dani Barcia’s late leveler at El Molinón.
Borja Jiménez’s men have not been at their best in recent weeks. Sporting failed to win six of their last seven games, including 1:0 reversals at FC Andorra and Las Palmas.
On the road, Gijon have struggled, with nine defeats recorded in 15 away La Liga 2 games this season. Los Rojiblancos lost three of their four most recent matches on their travels.
Head coach Jiménez has two expected absentees. Andres Ferrari is ruled out with a broken fibula and is not expected to return until June. Andres Cuenca is also missing for the visitors.
