Everything is decided in Group C. Sweden and Germany will progress to the next phase, while Denmark and Poland, which are pointless after two rounds, will fight only for the third position in the standings.
Before the EURO started, it was clear that Poland would have a tough time progressing to the knockout phase in this group. Danish defeat against Germany was marked by a controversial goal that decided the winner. Before the goal, Denmark's Emma Snerle suffered a head injury, but referee Catarina Campos didn't stop the play. Denmark's head coach, Andree Jeglertz, said after the game, "That is a situation for which we need to make the rules clear because if you have a player that gets a serious head injury, my view is that you need to blow the whistle. You need to take responsibility; you need to do something as a referee. I don't understand why she doesn't stop the game in that situation."
