Everything is decided in Group C. Sweden and Germany will progress to the next phase, while Denmark and Poland, which are pointless after two rounds, will fight only for the third position in the standings.

Before the EURO started, it was clear that Poland would have a tough time progressing to the knockout phase in this group. This was Poland's first appearance at the continental championship, so it was hard to expect much more. Nina Patalon's team opened the tournament with a 2-0 defeat against Germany. Four days later, Poland lost 3-0 against Sweden. In both matches, Poland showed big problems in creating goals-coring chances, and that is something they should work on in the future.

Denmark have a big tradition of playing at the EUROs. They even had one final appearance (in 2017) and five semifinals. However, this year, Denmark was nowhere near the desired level as they lost both matches so far. In the opening round, Andree Jeglertz's team lost 1-0 against Sweden. After that came a 2-1 defeat against Germany. Like Poland, Denmark also had problems creating goal-scoring chances.

Poland vs Denmark pick: Under 2.5 goals

Both teams had big problems in the attack throughout the tournament, so we shouldn't expect more than two goals in the final match in the group.

Poland team news

Poland lost both matches in the EURO, but the head coach, Nina Patalon, saw some positives. She said, "The hard work we've put in gives us a chance, but it doesn't guarantee success. We've raised our level in many areas, but clearly, we must keep improving. We're not intimidated, but we need discipline, humility, and persistence to keep growing."

Denmark W

Denmark team news

Danish defeat against Germany was marked by a controversial goal that decided the winner. Before the goal, Denmark's Emma Snerle suffered a head injury, but referee Catarina Campos didn't stop the play. Denmark's head coach, Andree Jeglertz, said after the game, "That is a situation for which we need to make the rules clear because if you have a player that gets a serious head injury, my view is that you need to blow the whistle. You need to take responsibility; you need to do something as a referee. I don't understand why she doesn't stop the game in that situation."
