Pisa’s six-match unbeaten streak was halted last weekend as Inter claimed a 2:0 victory at the Arena Garibaldi–Romeo Anconetani. Two late strikes from Lautaro Martínez proved decisive for I Nerazzurri.

Alberto Gilardino’s side have been a tough side to beat since returning to Serie A. Pisa have suffered only two defeats in their last nine league outings, yet their struggle to convert draws into wins continues to be a major issue. I Torri have been held to draws in seven of their 13 Serie A matches this season, and now find themselves inside the relegation zone with just 10 points on the board.

Parma travel to Pisa aiming to respond after a disappointing week that saw them suffer consecutive defeats. Carlos Cuesta’s side fell to a 2:0 defeat against Udinese in Serie A before a 2:1 loss away to Bologna in Thursday’s Coppa Italia tie.

I Crociati have found victories hard to come by this season. Since September, Parma have managed only one win in ten matches, with five defeats and four draws during that spell. The visitors now sit just one point above the relegation zone. 

Like Pisa, Parma’s main weakness has been their lack of cutting edge in attack. I Crociati have scored only nine goals across 13 Serie A fixtures this season, with just six strikes coming from their seven home matches.

Carlos Cuesta also faces several selection problems on Monday. Zion Suzuki, Matija Frigan, Alessandro Circati, and Abdoulaye Ndiaye are all sidelined through injury, while Mariano Troilo is suspended.
