These teams are coming to the match with opposite momentum, considering the Canaries won back-to-back games against Blackburn and Oxford Utd, and six of the past seven games. Norwich team overview
Norwich were relegated from the Premier League in 2021/22 and failed to return in the following three seasons, reaching the Playoffs only once. This season, the Canaries had an atrocious start, and it seemed like they could get involved in a relegation battle. However, after a coaching change in late November 2025, the Canaries started playing a lot better and are, at the moment, one of the hottest teams in the league. If it weren't for that, Norwich would probably be among the teams in the Playoffs. After 32 rounds in the Championship, Norwich won 39 points - and are seven points away from the danger zone.
After a 3:0 win over Oxford Utd, coach Philippe Clement spoke to the media. He was very pleased with the team, saying they started the game strongly and scored early. The Belgian coach said the team showed they are working hard and are beginning to understand more what he expects from them, with and without the ball.

West Brom team overview
West Brom are also one of the teams that struggle to get back to the Premier League after their relegation. The Baggies were relegated in 2020/21 and only reached the playoffs once in the following four seasons. This year, however, the Baggies were atrocious and looked more like a relegation team than one that should be battling for the playoffs. Even after a coaching change in mid-January, the situation is unchanged. In fact, under coach Eric Ramsey, the team is doing even worse, having won just three points in six games. At the moment, they are in 19th place with 34 points, only two points away from the danger zone.
After a goalless draw with Birmingham, coach Eric Ramsay spoke to the media. He said they secured back-to-back clean sheets, which is huge for them in moving forward. The coach emphasised the need for everyone to step up, especially experienced players.

Prediction
Norwich have blossomed under coach Clement, especially in recent games, winning six of the past seven. Their only loss was against Middlesbrough in a super close game that could have gone either way. Also, during that seven-game streak, the Canaries allowed only four goals and should do well against West Brom, which have had massive offensive problems.
West Brom haven't won in their last nine games in regular time, losing five of them. Even though their coach, Eric Ramsay, praised them for defensive improvements, he failed to comment on their offensive problems. The Baggies failed to score in their previous three games and in four of the past five! Moreover, WBA struggled on the road throughout the season, losing 12 of 18 games across competitions.
In the last h2h game, Norwich dominated and won 5:0. Considering all the above, we firmly believe the Canaries should secure a win and advance to the FA Cup 1/8 Finals.
4 Reasons why Norwich should win
- Norwich won back-to-back games against Oxford Utd and Blackburn
- Norwich won six of the past seven games
- West Brom failed to win in the past nine games
- Norwich won the previous h2h game 5:0
