Norway U21 failed to qualify for the previous EURO U21, losing in the Playoffs Finals to Finland U21 on a 6:3 aggregate. In these Qualifiers, they have been great, winning all three games against Slovenia U21, Israel U21, and Bosnia and Herzegovina U21. More impressively, they haven't allowed a single goal thus far and have every reason to be optimistic about their chances to finish at the top of group G. Now, they are at the top spot with nine points - three points above the second-placed Israel U21 despite having played two games fewer! With a possible win here, Norway U21 would take a massive step in securing the upcoming EURO U21. 

According to credible sources, Niklas Odegard will miss the upcoming game due to an ankle injury. The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of their best players in the Qualifiers, having started all three games.

Netherlands have been one of the best teams in EURO U21 history, winning the competition twice and reaching the semi-finals on five more occasions. However, in these Qualifiers, they looked surprisingly bad. After five points in the first three games, they looked more or less OK, but a 3:1 loss against Israel U21 really ruined their chances of securing the top two spots. At the moment, they are sitting in 4th place with five points in four rounds. However, they are still only one point behind second place, having played one game less. With a possible win, even reaching the top spot will be a real possibility. 

Winger Jayden Addai will miss the match with an ACL injury. The 20-year-old has had a very good season for Como, and Netherlands U21 will undoubtedly miss him in these Qualifiers, as he will be out for a significant period.
