- Venue: Cairo International Stadium
National Bank will be looking to register four successive wins for the first time in over three months when they play host to Zamalek on Monday night.
The hosts have been a completely different side since their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of the Pyramids in the Egypt Cup semi-final at the 30 June Stadium, where they managed just two shots on target. Tarek Mostafa's side recorded wins in all three of their matches since then and scored at least twice in as many games. Their most recent victory came against Ceramica Cleopatra at the Arab Contractors Stadium, where they came from a goal down to win 4-2 with four different scorers.
El Zamalek, meanwhile, are unbeaten since being knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup by Stellenbosch earlier last month. The visitors put together a two-match winning run, beating Haras El Hodoud and Smouha 3:0 on aggregate before drawing with Al Masry in midweek. Despite the draw, head coach José Peseiro will be pleased that his side kept a third successive clean sheet.
National Bank of Egypt vs Zamalek SC Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals
El Zamalek have been rock solid defensively in their last few games in all competitions and I think that will be the deciding factor on Monday. The visitors kept a clean sheet in all but one of their last six encounters, and shipped under one goal in each of their last seven. Six of those games ended with under 2.5 goals.
Zamalek also have a solid defensive record against National Bank, with the visitors conceding under one goal in seven of the last eight meetings between the two sides. Five of those games ended with under 2.5 goals, and I expect a similar result on Monday.
- Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals

National Bank team news
Mohamed Abdelmonem has missed National Bank of Egypt's last two matches with a cruciate ligament injury and Monday's game will come too soon for the centre-back.
Having come from a goal down to beat Ceramica Cleopatra last time out, head coach Tarek Mostafa is expected to retain most of his XI.
As such, top scorer Osama Faisal will continue to lead the line and will be joined by Yaw Annor and Sayed Abdallah, while Ibrahim will be the man to watch in the engine room.
