Napoli vs AC Milan prediction 06.04.2026 | Serie A

Napoli may not repeat the success and win another Serie A title, but they will have another good season. Napoli are among the top four teams in the competition, and that will hardly change. Also, Antonio Conte's team is in excellent form with four consecutive wins. In the most recent outing, they won 1-0 on the road against Cagliari. The visitors ended with xG of 1.74, while the hosts had only 0.33, so Napoli's victory was well-deserved. 

Antonio Conte has had two good seasons with Napoli, and he has a contract for one more year. However, after a painful defeat in the World Cup qualifications, Italy is considering Conte as their next head coach. He already led the national team from 2014 to 2016. In that period, Italy played in the European Championship and was knocked out in the quarterfinals. 

Napoli have some injury problems. They will be without David Neres, Amir Rrahmani, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, and Antonio Vergara. 

After only eighth position last season, AC Milan have made a step in the right direction in the current campaign. They are the closest to the league leader, Inter Milan, with six fewer points. AC Milan are in good form, too, with three wins and one defeat in the last four matches. In the previous game, they won 3-2 at home against Torino. The hosts didn't dominate, and they even ended with a lower xG, but their superb efficiency was enough for all three points. 

Like Antonio Conte, Massimiliano Allegri is another candidate to become the head coach for the Italian national team. He has a contract with AC Milan for one more year, and there were even rumors recently that the board is ready to offer him a new deal, but everything could change with Gennaro Gattuso stepping down.
