On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, National Potosi from Bolivia will welcome Paraguayan Guarani in the fourth round of the Copa Sudamericana at Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte in Potosí.

National Potosi finished between fourth and sixth place in the last three seasons and is definitely not among the best teams in Bolivia. This year, they had a pretty bad start, considering they sit in 12th place with just four points in the first five rounds. When it comes to the Copa Sudamericana, Nacional Potosi won three points in three rounds and are in third place. In order to have a chance of securing the next stage for only the second time ever, they have to secure a positive result in this home game.

Guarani, an 11-time Paraguayan champ, finished the previous Clausura in second place, just behind Olimpia Asuncion. This year, in the Apertura, they are doing a good job as they are in second place, with 32 points from 17 rounds - three points away from the first-placed Libertad Asuncion, but with a game played more. In the Copa Sudamericana, the popular "Chiefs" had an excellent start, winning seven points in the first three rounds, and a potential win would put them in a great position to secure the next stage of the competition.

Nacional Potosi vs Guarani pick: Both teams to score

Bolivian teams are notorious for their home pitch advantage, and Nacional Potosi is no different. We could see that in the first game of the group stage when they beat Independiente 2:0. If we look further at their home games, we can see that they scored at least a goal in 19 of the last 20 games. Meanwhile, we do not trust their defense, especially after allowing two goals per game in six of the previous seven games.

Guarani are in excellent form, having won four in a row and scoring 10 goals - 2.5 per game. So, we feel confident in their offense against struggling Nacional Potosi. And away from home, they are scoring pretty much constantly, considering they did so in four of the last five - 80%.
