Stade Louis II hosts a big Ligue 1 clash on Saturday afternoon as Monaco take on champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Both sides were in Champions League league-phase action during the week. Monaco extended their winless run to three matches after a draw with Paphos, while PSG kept their momentum going with a dramatic 5:3 victory over Tottenham.
The Parisians claimed a thrilling high-scoring win on their last visit to this venue, and another action-packed encounter is expected this weekend.

Ligue 1
Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain have met on 14 occasions since 2020. PSG won seven of those games while Monaco scored four victories. The hosts have failed to win any of their last five games against the Ligue 1 champions.
Monaco team overview
Monaco return to Ligue 1 business after being held to a 2:2 draw against Paphos in their Champions League trip to Cyprus on Wednesday. Despite taking the lead twice, Les Rouge et Blanc were forced to settle for a point at Alphamega Stadium.
Now winless in three games, Monaco slipped to shock 4:1 defeats in both of their last two Ligue 1 games against Lens and Rennes. Les Rouge et Blanc were reduced to ten men in both of those setbacks.
A poor run of form in the past month has seen Sébastien Pocognoli's side lose each of their last three league games, while failing to win four of their last five matches across all competitions.
A high-scoring outcome seems likely in what is usually an open and entertaining fixture. Monaco have seen at least four goals scored in their last three matches, and in four of their last six matches against Paris Saint-Germain.
Monaco boss Pocognoli is unable to call on Christian Mawissa and Eric Dier, who remain sidelined with injury issues. Denis Zakaria and Folarin Balogun also miss out due to suspension.

Paris Saint-Germain team overview
Paris Saint-Germain arrives at the Stade Louis II after a wild 5:3 win against Tottenham in the Champions League on Wednesday. Having twice fallen behind, Luis Enrique's side showed their powers of recovery to claim a thrilling win at the Parc des Princes.
Turning their attention back to domestic affairs, PSG come into this fixture two points clear at the top of Ligue 1. The Parisians won nine and lost just one of 13 league games played this season.
High-scoring outcomes can usually be relied upon when PSG are in action. Each of the Parisians last four games finished with over 2.5 goals scored. Over the longer period, only two of their nine previous matches did not see at least three goals scored.
Both teams are strong in attack, and I expect BTTS to land this weekend. PSG have seen both teams score in four of their last six matches, and in five of their seven previous games against Monaco.
Head coach Enrique remains unable to call on Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi and Ousmane Dembélé this weekend. The Spanish boss is likely to keep faith in the same XI that edged past Tottenham on Wednesday.

Prediction
A high-scoring outcome seems inevitable when Monaco host Paris Saint-Germain this weekend.
I'm banking on at least three, and potentially four or more goals scored at the Stade Louis II.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Over 2.5 Goals
- Monaco have seen over 3.5 goals in their last 3 matches
- Monaco have seen over 3.5 goals in 4 of their last 6 matches against PSG
- PSG have seen over 2.5 goals in 7 of their last 9 matches
Main prediction Monaco - PSG
Over 2.5 goals
