Lille

Lille team overview

Lille come into Saturday's Ligue 1 contest two weeks after a narrow 1:0 win against US Lusitanos Saint-Maur in the Coupe de France. Marius Sivertsen Broholm´s late goal secured a hard-fought road victory for Bruno Genesio´s side.

LOSC have been in superb form over the past month or so, picking up wins in all but one of their last seven games, including each of their last four previous Ligue 1 matches.

Particularly strong at Decathlon Arena - Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille won six and lost just one of eight home Ligue 1 matches this season. However, they have showed some sign of defensive vulnerabilities, conceding three against Auxrre, and two against Paris FC in recent high-scoring victories.

Head coach Gensio is unable to call on several first-team players this week. Ousmane Touré, Hamza Igamane, Aïssa Mandi, Chancel Mbemba, Ngal'ayel Mukau and André Gomes are all ruled out, Romain Perraud is suspended, Matías Fernández is doubtful, while Marc-Aurele Caillard’s availability remains unclear.

Rennes

Rennes team overview

Rennes make the trip to Decathlon Arena - Stade Pierre Mauroy in strong form after a comfortable 3:0 win against Les Sables V in the Coupe de France ten days ago.

Habib Beye´s side have found their best form in recent weeks, picking up six wins from their last seven games, including four of their five most recent Ligue 1 matches.

Up to sixth in the division, the visitors are strong on the front foot, with at least one goal scored in ten of their last 11 games. The attack-minded visitors sit four points behind Lille coming into this weekend´s matchup.

Head coach Beye has a few injury concerns this weekend. Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, Seko Fofana and Mahamadou Nagida are all ruled out, while Przemysław Frankowski is listed as doubtful.
