Lecce return to home comforts after back-to-back 1–0 defeats at the San Siro against Inter and AC Milan. Despite delivering resolute performances in both fixtures, Eusebio Di Francesco’s side were left empty-handed.

A dismal run of form in the past month has seen the home side lose each of their last four Serie A matches, with just one point picked up from six matches played since Christmas. Lecce now find themselves inside the relegation zone, behind Fiorentina on goal difference. 

Low-scoring outcomes have been frequent, with just three of their last 13 games finishing with under 2.5 goals scored. A lack of attacking firepower has been the biggest issue for Di Francesco's side. I Giallorossi scored just 13 goals in 21 league matches this season.

Lecce boss Di Francesco has four selection issues to deal with. Francesco Camarda is ruled out, Kialonda Gaspar is suspended, while Medon Berisha and Balthazar Pierret are both listed as doubtful.

Lazio make the trip to Via del Mare after slipping to a painful 3:0 home defeat against high-flying Como last weekend. Nico Paz bagged twice as the visitors stunned the Stadio Olimpico with an impressive road victory.

Maurizio Sarri´s side have been far from their best in recent weeks, with only one win picked up from their last six Serie A fixtures. However, they have proven stronger on the road, remaining unbeaten in their last three road trips, including victories against Verona and Parma (both 1:0).

Like the home side, low-scoring outcomes have been a regular occurrence for the visitors. Only two of Lazio´s last 16 games finished with more than two goals scored.

Head coach Sarri has a handful of potential absentees this weekend. Samuel Gigot and Matías Vecino are ruled out, Danilo Cataldi is suspended, while Patric and Toma Bašić are both listed as doubtful.
