The Estadio de Gran Canaria plays host to La Liga action on Frriday evening as Las Palmas welcomes Rayo Vallecano to the Canary Islands.
Las Palmas vs Rayo Vallecano Betting Tips - BTTS
Las Palmas welcome Rayo Vallecano to the Canary Islands in what should be a competitive La Liga encounter. While both sides have struggled for consistency this season, recent form suggests we could be in for goals at both ends.
Los Amarillos return to action looking to bounce back from successive La Liga defeats against Athletic Bilbao (1:0) and Valencia (3:2) in the past fortnight. Having claimed much-needed wins in April against Getafe and Atletico Madrid, Las Palmas have given themselves a fighting chance of avoiding the drop, with the hosts just three points short of safety, with four games still to play.
Diego Martínez’s men have proven a reliable choice in the goal markets. BTTS has landed in six of their last eight La Liga home matches and in five of their last seven league fixtures. While their defence remains leaky, they’ve scored at least one goal in 11 of their last 12 home games.
Rayo makes the trip to Gran Canaria after a 1:0 win against Getafe last weekend. Still in the hunt to qualify for European competitions, Iñigo Pérez's side sit eighth in the division, only three points behind Celta, who occupy the Conference League qualifying position.
Not quite as consistent as the home side in the goal markets, five of Rayo`s last nine on the road saw BTTS, while they failed to score in only two of their previous ten away fixtures.
In a competitive fixture where neither side can be marked as clear favourites, I expect both teams to get on the scoresheet.
BTTS is my best bet at Estadio de Gran Canaria.
