Kosovo return to home comforts after a disappointing 4:0 defeat against Switzerland on Friday. Four goals conceded in a disastrous 23-minute first-half spell ensured a miserable road defeat for Franco Foda's men.

Before Friday's defeat, the Kosovans had enjoyed an excellent run of form, picking up eight victories from nine previous games, including home and wins against Iceland.

Goals can usually be expected when Kosovo are in action. All but one of their last 12 games finished with over 2.5 goals scored.

While in decent form, the Kosovans tend to struggle when stepping up to face stronger opposition. Foda's side lost by more than one goal in their last five defeats.

The hosts are expected to make changes to their first XI this week. Dion Gallapeni, Baton Zabergja and Albion Rrahmani are likely to earn recalls to the first XI after all three appeared as half-time substitutes in the defeat against Switzerland.

Sweden returns to action on Monday after a somewhat frustrating 2:2 draw against Slovenia on Friday. Despite taking the lead twice, Žan Vipotnik's 90th minute goal rescued a point for the Slovenians.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's men have been in excellent form over the past 12 months, with a world-class attack beginning to deliver on the international stage. The Swedes picked up victories in six of their last eight matches while scoring 24 goals in the process. Tomasson's side covered a -1.5 AH in six of their last eight victories.

With so much firepower available to the visitors, a high-scoring outcome seems likely on Monday evening. A minimum of three goals were scored in 11 of the Swedes last 13 games.
