- Venue: Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri
Sweden will be aiming for three points when they travel to the Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri to take on Kosovo in a FIFA World Cup qualifier on Monday evening.
Both teams come into this fixture looking to bounce back from somewhat disappointing results on Friday. While Kosovo suffered a heavy defeat in Switzerland, the Swedes were left frustrated by a late equaliser in Slovenia.
Now set for their first-ever competing meeting against Kosovo, Sweden come into this fixture as odds-on favouirites to get their qualification campaign going with a vital road victory.

Kosovo and Sweden will meet for the second time on Monday. Sweden claimed a 3:0 friendly victory when these nations faced each other in a friendly fixture four years ago.
Kosovo team overview
Kosovo return to home comforts after a disappointing 4:0 defeat against Switzerland on Friday. Four goals conceded in a disastrous 23-minute first-half spell ensured a miserable road defeat for Franco Foda's men.
Before Friday's defeat, the Kosovans had enjoyed an excellent run of form, picking up eight victories from nine previous games, including home and wins against Iceland.
Goals can usually be expected when Kosovo are in action. All but one of their last 12 games finished with over 2.5 goals scored.
While in decent form, the Kosovans tend to struggle when stepping up to face stronger opposition. Foda's side lost by more than one goal in their last five defeats.
The hosts are expected to make changes to their first XI this week. Dion Gallapeni, Baton Zabergja and Albion Rrahmani are likely to earn recalls to the first XI after all three appeared as half-time substitutes in the defeat against Switzerland.

Sweden team overview
Sweden returns to action on Monday after a somewhat frustrating 2:2 draw against Slovenia on Friday. Despite taking the lead twice, Žan Vipotnik's 90th minute goal rescued a point for the Slovenians.
Jon Dahl Tomasson's men have been in excellent form over the past 12 months, with a world-class attack beginning to deliver on the international stage. The Swedes picked up victories in six of their last eight matches while scoring 24 goals in the process. Tomasson's side covered a -1.5 AH in six of their last eight victories.
With so much firepower available to the visitors, a high-scoring outcome seems likely on Monday evening. A minimum of three goals were scored in 11 of the Swedes last 13 games.
Head coach Tomasson has no new injury issues ahead of Monday's FIFA World Cup qualifier. Benjamin Nygren is in contention for a place in the first XI after a second-half substitute appearance on Friday

Prediction
Sweden's class should shine through, and I expect the visitors to claim a vital away victory on Monday.
I'm backing Sweden to pick up the points in Kosovo.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Sweden to Win
- Sweden won 6 of their last 8 matches
- Kosovo lost 15 of their last 19 matches (World Cup qualifiers)
- Sweden won 3:0 when these nations last met in 2021
