Kilmarnock vs Livingston Betting Tips - BTTS

A competitive League Cup matchup sees Kimarnock take on Premiership newcomers Livingston this week.

Both teams kicked-off their League Cup campaigns in winning form with Kilmarnock claiming a 2:0 win at Brora and Livingston scoring a 2:1 win at East Fife.

Goals at both ends have been frequent for the visitors, with each of their last six games, including three pre-season friendlies finishing with BTTS.

Kilmarnock are a little less reliable in this market, but four of their last seven home games finished with both teams scoring, and they should be wary of the threat posed by a confident Livingston side.

Having secured Premiership promotion in May, Livi have plenty of optimism ahead of the new season, and with a strong road record, will be confident of troubling the Killie rearguard. The visitors won each of their last five away fixtures.

Given the visitors fine form, especially in away games, I expect both teams to score in a potentially open contest where both teams are capable of getting a positive result.

BTTS is my best bet at The BBSP Stadium Rugby Park.

Kilmarnock team news

Kilmarnock boss Stuart Kettlewell should retain confidence in the same side that claimed a 2:0 win against Brora on Saturday. Teenager Ben Brannan is likely to keep his place after scoring his first-ever goal in the Highlands.
