Karlsruher SC vs Arminia Bielefeld prediction 10.04.2026 | 2. Bundesliga

Karlsruher SC return to home comforts after a narrow 1:0 defeat at 2. Bundesliga leaders Schalke last weekend. Kenan Karama’s second-half secured a well-deserved win for the home side. 

Christian Eichner’s side have been in mixed form over the past month, winning three and losing two of six Bundesliga II fixtures. With six games to play in the Bundesliga II season, KSC sit ninth in the division, eight points clear of the relegation zone. 

Frequently involved in entertaining and high-scoring contests, six of Karlsruher’s last seven league games finished with both teams on the score sheet. 

Past encounters against Arminia have been similarly dramatic. Each of six previous meetings finished with at least three goals scored, while five of those fixtures saw at least four goals. 

Head coach Eichner has three expected absentees this weekend. Marcel Beifus is ruled out with cartilage damage and is not expected back until the end of the season, while Lilian Egloff is sidelined with a torn muscle.

Eymen Laghrissi is another absentee in attack.

Arminia Bielefeld make the trip to Wildparkstadion after a vital 2:1 win against Darmstadt eased their relegation worries. Jannik Rochelt’s 81st minute strike secured an impressive comeback win against their promotion-chasing opponents. 

Last weekend’s win lifted Arminia up to 11th in the division, but only two points above the relegation zone. 

A dismal road record has been a big issue for Michel Kniat’s side. Arminia Bielefeld lost eight of 14 away Bundesliga II games this season, including each of their last three away fixtures.

Like the home side, recent matches involving Bielefeld have been high-scoring. Five of their seven most recent fixtures finished with at least three goals scored, including a 3:1 defeat at Elversberg in their previous road trip.

Head coach Kniat has a minimum of three injury absentees for Friday’s Bundesliga II encounter. Daniel Richter is ruled out with a cruciate ligament injury and is not expected to return until the end of the season. Joel Felix is also sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Isaiah Young remains unavailable after suffering a torn ligament injury.
