Istanbul Basaksehir vs Trabzonspor prediction 24.11.2025 | Süper Lig

Istanbul Basaksehir comes into Monday's Süper Lig contest looking to bounce back from a 2:1 defeat at Gençlerbirliği over two weeks ago. 

A mixed run of results in the past couple of months has seen the home side lose four and win just two of their eight most recent fixtures. Nuri Şahin´s side now find themselves 12th in the division, only three points above the relegation zone. 

Over a longer period, Basaksehir have failed to win all but three of 14 games played this season, and they could struggle to overcome a tough-to-beat opponent on Monday. 

Istanbul boss Sahin has a full complement of players available for selection this week.

Trabzonspor resume their Süper Lig campaign in decent form after extending their unbeaten run to seven games before the international break. Fatih Tekke´s side were left frustrated though as a late equaliser denied them victory in their 1:1 draw against Alanyaspor. 

An impressive run saw the Karadeniz Fırtınası pick up four successive league wins, before a hard-fought goalless draw at champions Galatasaray. Tekke´s men now sit third in the division, just four points behind the champions and league leaders.

Trabzonspor have a strong record in this fixture, picking up victories in each of their last four encounters since February 2024. The visitors are unbeaten in all but one of seven previous encounters between these sides. 

Head coach Tekke is unlikely to deviate from the side that picked up a draw against Alanyaspor earlier this month. Benjamin Bouchouari remains suspended after a red card against Galat
