Hull City return to Championship action after a 1:1 draw at Oxford on Friday. Mohamed Belloumi’s 13th minute goal levelled a fast-paced opening period, but despite creating several opportunities, were unable to claim victory at Kassam Stadium.

Placed fifth in the division and still inside the playoff zone, Hull have endured a period of inconsistency in recent weeks. The Tigers have won four and lost five of their last ten Championship fixtures.

Home form has been particularly up and down, with Hull winning ten and losing seven of their 20 league games at the MKM Stadium this season.

Hull boss Jakirović has several absentees this week. Eliot Matazo, Regan Slater, Akin Famewo, Matty Jacob, Ryan Giles, Yu Hirakawa and Darko Gyabi are all ruled out through injury.

Coventry come into Monday’s Championship contest in high spirits after a vital 3:2 win against Derby County on Friday. Jack Rudoni was the hero with the substitute bagging twice in a topsy-turvy game at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Frank Lampard’s side now look near certs to secure Premier League promotion after a superb run of form over the past six weeks. Coventry have won eight of their last nine Championship fixtures and now sit 12 points clear of third-placed Middlesbrough with just six games to play.

With a maximum of six points required from those matches, the Sky Blues look set to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2001.

Four successive away wins will give Lampard's men plenty of confidence on Monday. Coventry lost only five of 20 Championship road fixtures this season. 

Head coach Lampard has three expected absentees on Monday. Oliver Dovin, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Miguel Angel Brau are all ruled out through injury.
