Huddersfield Town look a more settled outfit this season. Last year’s 10th-place finish felt… fine, but not especially convincing. Now the Terriers sit inside the top six and, quietly, the promotion conversation has started to include them.

Liam Manning’s side arrive in decent shape. Two recent matches, two clean sheets. Even more encouraging for home supporters, the Accu Stadium has become something of a fortress. The Terriers are unbeaten in their last 11 home league games, which naturally builds confidence before facing the leaders.

Up front, Marcus Harness and Cameron Ashia should lead the line. Neither has exploded statistically, both sitting on three league goals, but their movement tends to create space for others. In midfield, Cameron Humphreys often dictates tempo and could end up being the key figure.

There is one notable absence. Rhys Healey remains sidelined with a knee injury that has kept the striker out since last February.

Lincoln City are edging toward what would be a remarkable moment for the club. After seven seasons in League One, the Imps look increasingly likely to finally climb out of the division.

There are a couple of injury concerns, though. James Collins remains unavailable after suffering a cruciate ligament injury earlier in the campaign. Tuesday’s match comes too soon for the centre forward. Left-back Josh Honohan is also sidelined with a muscle problem.
