Hamkam will be looking for a win that will take them further away from the relegation zone when they play host to title chasers Brann this weekend.

The hosts have finished in the bottom six in each of their last three Norwegian top-flight campaigns and look set to extend that run this season. Thomas Myhre’s team has won only three of their eleven games so far this season, with just one point separating them from the bottom three. They enjoyed a successful period at the end of May, beating Molde and Stromsgodset within a week, but have since failed to win either of their last two games.

Meanwhile, Brann have finished second in each of the last two seasons and currently find themselves in the same position. After losing 3:0 to the reigning champions, Bodo/Glimt, the previous weekend, the visitors bounced back with a narrow win over Sandefjord earlier this week at the Brann Stadion where they ended a run of four matches without a clean sheet.
