Getafe are having an excellent season, especially considering they were consistently relegation candidates in previous years. This season, Azulones are trying to secure a place in Europe for the fourth time in their history. Now, they are in 8th place with 38 points from 29 matches, and the fact that they are level with Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao says a lot about their season. Azulones are entering the final part of the season in good form and have a favorable schedule, with only one duel against a team from the top six. 

For the upcoming tie, Kiko Femenia, Abdel Abqar, and Allan Nyom are all suspended and will miss the game. Meanwhile, Davinchi, Juanmi, Abu Kamara, and Borja Mayoral should all remain sidelined with their injuries.

Athletic Bilbao have had a pretty underwhelming season thus far. The Basque team failed to come out of the League (Group) stage of the Champions League and are currently in 9th place in La Liga. They had a chance to somewhat save the season in the Copa del Rey, but Sociedad eliminated them in the semi-finals. Now, their only goal is to climb to the top six, which are only three points away. However, their schedule is very demanding, and we doubt their chances of securing Europe next season. 

After a 2:1 win over Real Betis, coach Ernesto Valverde spoke ot the media. The coach said it was a hard-earned and important win to push them toward European places. However, he was unhappy with the performance in the second half, saying they had to dig deep and defend to hold on. 

Inaki Williams had to withdraw from the Ghana NT due to a groin injury and will most likely miss the upcoming game. Moreover, the players who missed the previous games due to injury should remain sidelined - Nico Williams, Maroan Sannadi, Benat Prados Diaz, and Aitor Paredes.
