Gaziantep FK vs Kasimpasa prediction 09.02.2026 | Super Lig

Gaziantep FK return to home comforts after a resounding 5:1 win against Keçiörengücü in the Türkiye Kupası on Thursday. Denis Drăguş bagged twice as Burak Yilmaz's side secured safe passage into the next round.

While potentially buoyed by that victory, Gaziantep have endured a poor run of form in the Turkish Super Lig. FK failed to win each of their last seven league fixtures, while they have won just one of their last 11 since October. 

Past encounters suggest we could see a high-scoring encounter on Monday. Seven of Gaziantep's last nine games against Kasimpasa  finished with at least three goals scored.

Head coach Yilmaz remains unable to call on two long term absentees. Salem M’Bakata and Ali Mevran Ablak are still unavailable with cruciate knee ligament injuries.

Kasimpasa arrive at Gaziantep Stadium after a painful 1:0 home defeat against Samsunspor. In an evenly-balanced contest, Jaures Assoumou's stoppage-time goal secured the points for the visitors. 

Emre Belözoğlu's side now find themselves inside the relegation zone, having failed to win any of their last seven league fixtures.

While in possession of the worst home record in the division, Kasimpasa have fared a little better on their travels. Paşa picked up 11 of 16 points collected in away fixtures.

On the road, Kasimpasa failed to score only once in their last five matches, and they should fancy their chances against a Gaziantep side in such poor form at this venue.

Head coach Belözoğlu has three expected absentees this weekend. Haris Hajradinovic is a long-term absentee while Erdem Cetinkaya and Claudio Winck are both expected to remain sidelined.
