Iceland makes the trip to Paris with confidence raised from a thumping 5:0 win against Azerbaijan on Saturday. Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson helped himself to a second-half double as the Icelandics ran amok with four goals in the second period. 

Arnar Gunnlaugsson's men had lost four of five previous matches before their impressive victory last weekend. 

On the road, the Icelandics have struggled to find much winning form in their last two qualification campaigns for Euro 2024, and the World Cup in 2022. Iceland lost seven and won just one of their last ten road games. 

A high-scoring outcome could offer plenty of value this weekend. Iceland have seen over 2.5 goals scored in eight of their last ten matches.

Head coach Gunnlaugsson is set to keep faith with the same side that breezed past Azerbaijan. The visitors have no reported injury issues.
