France returns to home comforts having been held to a 1:1 draw in Switzerland in Friday´ U21 Euro Qualification match. Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi's second-half goal ensured the French remain unbeaten in Group C. 

Gérald Baticle's side began their campaign with a pair of commanding victories against the Faroe Islands (6:0) and Estonia (6:1), while they have lost just one of 15 games played since October 2024. 

A free-scoring side with plenty of attacking quality, France covered the -2 Asian Handicap in five of eight victories since March, and another routine win seems likely on Monday. 

Head coach Baticle reported no new injury issues after Friday´s draw in Switzerland. Eli Junior Kroupi could come into the side after his goal-scoring substitute appearance against the Swiss.

The Faroe Islands U21 return to action looking to avoid a fourth successive defeat on Monday. The Faroes side began their qualification campaign in impressive fashion, winning each of their first three matches. 

Victories against Estonia and Iceland (both 2:1) were followed by a narrow 1:0 success against Luxembourg, giving the Faroese a dream start to life in Group C.

However, their early momentum has faded in recent months. Ólavur Mikkelsen’s young squad have since suffered heavy defeats against France (6:0) and Switzerland (3:1), as well as this week´s 3:0 friendly loss to Hungary. 

Head coach Mikkelsen has a 21-man squad to choose from this week. Thomas Miezan is expected to lead the visitors attack on Monday.
