Fiorentina vs Jagiellonia prediction 26.02.2026 | Conference League

Fiorentina's season has been an absolute disaster, as they spent most of the season in the relegation zone in Serie A. However, with two straight Serie A wins over Como and Pisa, they have escaped the relegation zone but are still on level points with Lecce (18th) and Cremonese (17th). So, even though it has been a massively underwhelming season thus far, it seems Viola are consolidating, and we expect them to continue improving and move closer to the middle of the league table. 

In the Conference League, a deep run is expected, given they reached two Finals and one Semi-Final over the previous three years! 

For the previous game, Fiorentina were forced to play without several important players due to fitness or injury problems - David De Gea, Manor Solomon, Albert Gudmundsson, Moise Kean, and Dodo. They will most likely be ready for the upcoming match, at least for a limited time. The only injured player on the team should be Tariq Lamptey. 

Jagiellonia have been among the best teams in Poland in recent seasons. They won the Ekstraklasa title in the 2023/24 season and finished 3rd last season. This year, the team from Białystok are once again one of the main contenders for the title as they are at the top of the league with 37 points from 21 rounds - two points above the second place and with one game played less. Still, with only two points in the past three games across competitions, we can safely say they are in a bit of a slump.

In the Conference League, Jagiellonia hoped for a similar run to last season, when they reached the quarter-finals. Still, that seems very unlikely after a massive 3:0 loss in the first leg. 

For the second leg game, coach Adrian Siemieniec will have striker Afimico Pululu back after serving a one-game suspension. The 26-year-old has been excellent this season, scoring 15 goals in 33 appearances across competitions.
