Everton vs West Ham prediction 29.09.2025 | Premier League

After four pretty underwhelming seasons where they came pretty close to the relegation zone, Everton finally started the year well and were especially good at home. The Toffees are tenth with seven points from the first five rounds. However, excluding the Liverpool game, they have had a fairly easy schedule, and it will be interesting to see what they will get from the upcoming games, considering they will face Crystal Palace, Manchester City, and Tottenham after the West Ham match. 

In the previous game against Wolves in the EFL Cup, the Toffees lost 2:0. After the match, coach David Moyes spoke to the media. He was really unhappy with the loss, saying Wolves weren't better, as they dominated most of the second half but couldn't find a way of getting a goal. The coach added Wolves haven't had any real big chances to score. 

West Ham came into this season after a terrible one last year. The Hammers won just 43 points and ended up 14th. However, 43 points are often not enough to secure survival. Still, luckily for them, the bottom three teams last year were simply atrocious, and they secured survival rather easily despite a low number of points acquired. 

However, if the last season was bad, what can one say about the start to this one?! The Hammers won just three points (vs struggling Nottingham) in the first five rounds. Besides their poor start in the PL, they also lost the EFL Cup 1/32 Finals vs Wolves.

For the upcoming game vs Everton, the team will be without Aaron Wan Bissaka, who is out with a stomach problem. Additionally, Tomas Soucek will serve the second out of his three-game suspension after receiving a red card vs Tottenham.
