UEFA Conference League Predictions 2025/26
The UEFA Europa Conference League is an annual club football tournament organised by UEFA in 2021. There are 184 participants overall, with some starting from the first qualifying round in July, while the league phase, which takes place from October to December, consists of 36 teams. The knockout phase starts in February, while the deciding match takes place at the end of May at a neutral venue which was selected beforehand.
All matches are played on Thursday except for the final, which is always on Wednesday. There are 400+ games overall, including qualifying rounds, so there will be a great deal of Europa Conference League betting tips here.
UEFA Conference League format
The UEFA Europa Conference League, introduced in the 2021/22 season, is Europe's third-tier club competition, designed to provide more teams with the opportunity to compete on the international stage.
There are four qualifying rounds played in the summer, while the league phase consists of 36 teams. In the league phase, each club plays six matches, three at home and three away, against six different opponents. Ahead of the draw for the league phase, all teams are divided into six pots based on their UEFA club coefficients. Each team faces one opponent from each pot, ensuring a balanced distribution of matches. The top eight teams in the league phase advance directly to the Round of 16, while teams ranked 9th to 24th enter the knockout stage play-offs. Teams finishing 25th to 36th are eliminated from the competition.
The knockout phase commences with the play-offs, where teams ranked 9th to 16th in the league phase face those ranked 17th to 24th. Each tie is played over two legs, with the aggregate score determining the winner. The Round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals follow the same format, while the final is a single game played at a neutral venue, which is named before the start of the season.
