A place in the final of the Under 21 EUROS will be on the line when England U21 and Netherlands U21 face on in Bratislava on Wednesday night.
England U21s found it difficult to build on their 3:1 victory over the Czech Republic U21s in their opening Group B match. They drew 0-0 with Slovenia on Match Day 2 and lost to Germany U21 three days later, conceding more than one goal in a competitive match for the first time in 10 U21 EURO games. Lee Carsley’s team responded well with a 3-1 win over Spain in the quarter-finals, and they will be hoping to put in a similar performance in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
The Netherlands have also had an unconvincing EURO U21 campaign so far. Jong Oranje picked up only one point from their opening two Group D matches against Finland and Denmark, before beating Ukraine 2-0 on Match Day 3 to make it into the knockout stages. But after beating Portugal 1–0 with a man down in the quarter-finals last time out, they will fancy their chances of reaching the finals for the first time since 2006.
England U21 vs Netherlands U21 Betting Tips: Both teams to score
The young Lions failed to score against Slovenia U21 in their second group match, but this was a rare occurrence, as they boast at least one goal in all but one of their last seven matches. Five of those matches saw over 2.5 goals, and both teams scored in six of them.
The Netherlands U21s have also been very offensively minded so far in this tournament, with the Dutch scoring in all four of their games in Slovakia so far.

England U21 team news
England Under-21s head coach Lee Carsley is expected to resist the temptation to alter the side that beat Spain Under-21s in the last quarter-final.
Having both scored in that game, Manchester City’s James McAtee and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott are set to be the players to watch in Bratislava.
