A huge contest in the Africa Cup of Nations takes place on Saturday evening as tournament heavyweights Egypt and Ivory Coast battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.
Ivory Coast enjoyed a routine 3:0 win against Burkina Faso in the round of sixteen, while Egypt required extra-time to eventually see-off Benin with a 3:1 success.
Past encounters between these nations have been rare, with just two encounters in the past 25 years.

Egypt team overview
Egypt take their place in Saturday's AFCON quarter-final contest after a hard-fought round of sixteen victory against Benin earlier this week. After a 1:1 draw in regulation time, the Pharaohs eventually emerged with a 3:1 win after extra-time, with captain Mo Salah sealing the victory late in the contest.
Hossam Hassan's side remain unbeaten since their arrival in Morocco, emerging from Group B with seven points after earlier victories against Zimbabwe (2:1) and South Africa (1:0). Over a longer period, Egypt have lost just two of 16 previous international fixtures.
Both teams have been strong in attack, and that could lead to a competitive contest with chances at both ends. Egypt have seen BTTS in three of their last five matches while Ivory Coast have the same outcome in two of their last three matches.
Head coach Hassan is likely to retain confidence in the same side that edged past Benin. The Egyptians have no reported injury issues.

Ivory Coast team overview
Ivory Coast make the trip to Stade Adrar after securing the place in the quarter-finals with a comfortable 3:0 win against Burkina Faso earlier this week. First-half goals from Amad Diallo and Yan Diomande ensured serene progress for Emerse Faé's side.
The Ivorians have been strong performers in Morocco, picking up three wins and one draw from four games completed. Les Éléphants finished top of Group F with seven points, ahead of Cameroon on goal difference before their easy win against Burkina Faso.
The AFCON holders have been in largely solid form this year, picking up seven wins, while losing just one of their last ten international fixtures, while they will take part in this summer´s World Cup finals after a successful qualification campaign saw them finish unbeaten in CAF Group F.
Head coach Faé is likely to name the same XI that breezed past Burkina Faso. Aston Villa forward Evann Guessand is set to lead the Ivorian attack on Saturday.

Prediction
Egypt looks a little over-priced to avoid defeat in what is likely to be a tense 90 minutes at Stade Adrar. I'm backing the Pharaohs in the double chance market.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Egypt to Win or Draw
- Egypt are unbeaten in 16 of their last 18 matches
- Egypt are unbeaten in their last AFCON match against Ivory Coast
- Ivory Coast failed to win 2 of their last 6 matches
