Dinamo Predavac plays in the 3rd. NL – North, the fourth tier of Croatian football. They are one of the smallest clubs in this year's Cup and have no major achievements in their history. Their best season came in 1996/97, when they briefly reached the third tier - a fact that says a lot about the club's modest stature.

This season, the popular "Blues" opened the season with two wins and a loss in the league and are currently in fourth place, just three away from the top spot. When it comes to the Cup, the Blues won 5:3 against Bedem Ivankovo in the previous round, where they were heavy underdogs, securing a historic duel against Dinamo Zagreb.

Dinamo Zagreb is a dominant force in domestic football. They won 22 league titles in the last 24 seasons! However, last season was one of the rare exceptions. The popular "Modri" had the exact same stats as Rijeka, winning 65 points with a +28 goal difference. But in the Croatian league, head-to-head results serve as the tiebreaker, and that rule cost Dinamo the title.

This year, Dinamo Zagreb opened the season great, with four wins in a row, while beating the reigning champs, Rijeka, as well. However, they slipped in the last game against Varazdin (2:2) and are tied with Hajduk Split for the top spot with 13 points each.
