Deportivo Riestra had a surprisingly great last year, finishing 5th in Apertura and 3rd in Clausura. This year, the Black-and-Whites are nowhere near last season as they are in 14th place (out of 15) with only six points in 10 rounds. Currently, they are the only team without a win, and a match against struggling San Lorenzo could be the perfect opportunity to secure their first. 

In the previous game against Central Córdoba, coach Gustavo Benítez received a red card and will serve a touchline ban. Additionally, striker Nicolas Benegas will serve his one-game suspension due to the accumulation of yellow cards. Winger Agustin Ladstatter will serve his suspension after receiving a red card in the previous league game against Defensa y Justicia. However, the 20-year-old hasn't been good this season, and his absence could, in fact, be a good thing. When it comes to injuries, the team shouldn't have any new ones, but Daniel Herrera, Gaston Hernandez, Diego Herazo, Ezequiel Cerutti, and Nahuel Arias should remain sidelined.
