Atlético Tucumán hope to maintain their promising start to the second phase of the 2025 Argentine Primera División when they play away against Deportivo Riestra on Monday.
The visitors are one of seven teams yet to suffer a defeat after two games in this phase. Lucas Pusineri’s team started with a 2-1 win over San Martín two weeks ago, before drawing 1-1 with Central Córdoba last Sunday. The Northern Giants were in action in the Copa Argentina earlier this week when they travelled to face Boca Juniors in the 32nd round. They beat Lanús 1:0 at home on Matchday 1 before losing 3:2 to San Martín last Tuesday.
