Damac's results have steadily declined over the past seasons. However, this season they are really in danger of relegation, having won only 22 points in 27 rounds. At the moment, they are just two points away from relegation. And looking at their remaining schedule, we aren't really optimistic about their chances to survive. In the remaining seven rounds, they will have games against Al Qadsiah, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al Nassr. 

After a 3:0 loss to Al Ahli SC, coach Fábio Carille spoke to the media. He was very frustrated and angry with the performance. Carille emphasized focus, hard work, and error correction in the final seven rounds.

Still, they are five points behind 3rd-placed Al Ahli and will definitely try to make a push to secure a spot in the AFC Champions League. Before the loss in the last game (3:2 vs Al Ettifaq), they were on a 17-game unbeaten run, and it will be interesting to see how much that loss affects them. 

Central defender Gaston Alvarez and right full-back Mohammed Abu Al Shamat received red cards in the previous game and will serve their suspensions. Both players are crucial for Al Qadsiah, and their absence will definitely be a factor.
