Crystal Palace come into Wednesday's Premier League contest after a vital road victory at Brighton on Sunday. Ismaïla Sarr's 61st minute strike proved the difference as the Eagles secured a 1:0 win at the AMEX.

Having lost four of five games played in a dismal spell at the start of the year, Palace have since picked up four points from two away fixtures. Oliver Glasner's men claimed a 1:1 draw at Nottingham Forest before Sunday's away win.

A strong recent record in this fixture will give the Eagles further confidence. Palace won each of their last three meetings, including a comfortable 3:0 win when these sides last met at Selhurst Park. 

A low-scoring outcome seems likely in a battle between two sides struggling for form. Palace have seen under 2.5 goals scored in six of their last eight PL fixtures. Burnley have seen the same outcome in three of their last four games. 

Head coach Glasner remains unable to call on several first-team players. Rio Cardines, Cheick Doucouré, Eddie Nketiah and Caleb Kporha are ruled out, Justin Devenny is doubtful, while Jean-Philippe Mateta is also expected to remain sidelined after his protracted move to AC Milan fell through.

Now seemingly destined for the drop, Scott Parker's side sit 19th in the division, 11 points short of safety with only 13 games still to play.

A poor record on the road has been a major issue for Burnley. The Clarets lost nine of 12 away PL fixtures, with just five points picked-up on their travels this season. 

Head coach Parker has half-a-dozen players missing for Wednesday's Premier League contest. Zeki Amdouni, Axel Tuanzebe, Josh Cullen, Mike Trésor and Jordan Beyer are ruled out, while Connor Roberts is also unavailable.
