Stamford Bridge is the venue for a Premier League contest on Sunday evening as Chelsea takes on recently-crowned champions Liverpool.
Chelsea vs Liverpool Betting Tips - BTTS
An entertaining clash is expected at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as Chelsea host Premier League champions Liverpool.
Enzo Maresca's side comes into this game in decent form, with five wins picked up from their last eight league outings. Still fifth in the division, the Blues remain on course for Champions League qualification after vital victories against Fulham and Everton in the past fortnight.
Enzo Maresca’s youthful side also enjoyed a 4:1 Conference League semi-final win over Djurgården in midweek, extending their winning run to three matches.
While attacking fluency has improved, defensive issues remain a concern. The Blues have managed just one clean sheet in their last six league games. BTTS has landed in four of Chelsea’s last five Premier League matches, while 11 of their last 16 home league games have also seen goals at both ends.
Liverpool arrive in London fresh from their impressive 5:1 demolition of Tottenham to seal the title. Arne Slot’s men have been relentless going forward, but with the pressure now off, they may lack the same intensity that brought only their second-ever PL title.
The Reds have conceded in five of their last six away games, with BTTS landing in three of their last four league fixtures, and a similar outcome seems likely on Sunday.
Each of the last three Premier League meetings between these sides have seen BTTS and with both teams in good form, I expect both to net again this weekend.
BTTS is my best bet at Stamford Bridge.
