Casa Pia have performed well since their promotion from LigaPro at the end of the 2021–22 season.

They successfully avoided relegation in their previous three campaigns in the top flight, finishing ninth twice and tenth once.

However, it is worth mentioning that they had a sluggish end to the 2023–24 campaign. Alexandre Santana’s team won only one of their final seven games last season, losing two and drawing three.
