Canada continues their World Cup preparations when they take on European opponents Iceland in a warm-up fixture in Toronto.
Iceland make the trip to BMO Field having slipped to a heavy friendly defeat against Mexico last month, while Canada returns to action after a hard-fought friendly win against Guatemala in January.
The Icelandics are unbeaten in three previous encounters against Canada, but will need a big improvement in recent form if they are to leave Toronto with a positive result.

Friendly International
Canada and Iceland will meet for the fourth time on Saturday. Iceland are unbeaten in three previous encounters, with two wins and one draw. Canada slipped to a 1:0 defeat when they last hosted Iceland six years ago.
Canada team overview
Canada returns to international friendly action two months on from a narrow 1:0 win against Guatemala at BMO Stadium. Jacen Russell-Rowe’s second-half goal proved the difference-maker in Toronto.
One of three hosts for this summer's World Cup finals, the Canadians have shown some decent form in friendly matches contested in the past six months. Jesse Marsch's men won four and lost only one of seven games.
Highlight victories included a 3:0 win in Romania, a 1:0 win in Wales and a 2:0 victory against Venezuela.
A strong defence has led to several low-scoring outcomes in recent fixtures. Canada kept clean sheets in all but one of seven previous matches, while only one of ten previous matches finished with over two goals scored.
Head coach Marsch has a 28-man squad available this week. Promise David and Alfonso Davies are notable injury absentees for the home nation.

Iceland team overview
Iceland arrive at BMO Field in poor form following a heavy 4:0 defeat against Mexico in a friendly fixture last month. Two goals conceded in both halves ensured a long flight home for the Icelandics.
Arnar Bergmann Gunnlaugsson's side suffered disappointment in their bid to qualify for this summer's World Cup finals. Iceland finished third in UEFA Group D, with home and away defeats against Ukraine proving costly.
The visitors now come into this fixture having lost four and won only one of their six most recent international matches. Iceland failed to score in both of their last two away matches against Ukraine (2:0) and Mexico.
Head coach Gunnlaugsson has a 23-man squad available for Iceland's upcoming friendlies against Canada and Haiti. Experienced duo Albert Guðmundsson and Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson are both unavailable for the Europeans.

Prediction
Canada should claim victory in a likely low-scoring friendly fixture.
Under 2.5 goals is my top value pick, while I also have a stake on the home side to claim victory at BMO Field.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Under 2.5 Goals
- Canada have seen under 2.5 goals in 9 of their last 10 matches
- Iceland have seen under 2.5 goals in 2 of their last 3 matches
- Iceland have seen under 2.5 goals in 2 of their last 3 matches against Canada
Main prediction Canada - Iceland
Under 2.5 goals
