Morocco won their only AFCON title way back in 1976 and are searching for their second. In the recent four AFCONs, the Atlas Lions only reached Quarter-Finals (twice) and 1/8 Finals (twice). However, this team has proved they can compete with the very best in the World, securing fourth place at the World Cup in 2022. In this AFCON, Morocco did well, but have had a really easy schedule and were massive favorites in all of their matches - Comoros, Mali, and Zambia in the group stage and Tanzania in the knockout phase.
