Rob Edwards’s side have shown marked improvement over the past month, securing back-to-back Premier League victories against Aston Villa (2-0) and Liverpool (2-1). Wolves have now lost just one of their last five league matches, a sharp contrast to their earlier struggles, having suffered 19 defeats in their opening 25 games of the campaign.

Despite their improved run, the Black and Golds remain bottom of the division, 12 points short of EPL safety. Wolves failed to win any of 14 away league fixtures, but did secure draws in three of their five most recent road contests. 

Head coach Edwards has just two injury issues this week. José Sá is doubtful to feature while Enso González is expected to miss out.
