Last year, Brentford found themselves way below the expected position as they finished the season in 16th place. This year, after floating around those spots, the Bees made a big run, winning four in a row and moving upwards on the league's table. Right now, they are in a good position to secure Europe because, depending on the Cup, the Europa League, and the Conference League, England could have up to ten teams in Europe next season. Right now, two rounds before the end, the Bees are in 8th place with 55 points. If they won both games and ended up with 61 points, that would be the most for them in the Premier League (in this format).
Fulham, after years of moving between the Championship and the Premier League, have become a stable mid-table team. Since their arrival in the English top-flight division in 2022/23, they finished 10th and 13th and are on pace for another similar finish. In fact, they looked like a team that could easily secure Europe, but after winning three points in the last five matches, they dropped to 11th place with 51 points. However, with a couple of good results, they could make it to European spots. Still, after the Brentford game, the Cottagers will face off against Manchester City.
Brentford vs Fulham pick: Brentford to win
Brentford are on a great four-game winning streak. They excelled offensively, scoring a total of 11 goals - 2.75 per game. If we look further back, their only loss in the last eight games was against Newcastle. But that was a super close road game, which could easily go either way, considering Brentford had more xG. So, with a little luck, we could speak about an eight-game unbeaten run.
Meanwhile, Fulham are in a bad situation. They lost back-to-back games against Everton and Aston Villa, and also lost six of the last eight. We can see that their results have been poor for some time now, and it is unrealistic to expect a positive result on the road against in-form Brentford.
In the previous h2h games at Brentford Community Stadium, the Bees were clearly a better team. They won four of the last six, with the two other games ending in draws.
Considering the trend in the previous h2h games at Brentford Community Stadium and the difference in form, we believe the hosts should secure a comfortable win over the Cottagers.

Brentford team news
After a 1:0 over Ipswich, coach Thomas Frank spoke to the media. He spoke mostly about Europe and said he is very optimistic about their changes. "When we got promoted, we didn't see as far as potentially a club that played in Europe. But I saw a club that I knew could take some steps forward and had big belief in the club," the coach noted.
Fabio Carvalho, Vitaly Janelt, Aaron Hickey, and Josh Dasilva, who missed the previous games, should remain sidelined. Meanwhile, Kristoffer Ajer is questionable after missing the last match against Ipswich.

Fulham team news
In recent days, there were speculations that coach Marco Silva could leave the club. There is a lot of interest in him from the Saudi Arabian teams, especially Al Hilal. Several sources say the coach declined the offer as he wants to stay in Europe. However, it seems that the coach has several other offers and could easily leave the club in the offseason.
Timothy Castagne, Harrison Reed, Rodrigo Muniz Carvalho, Reiss Nelson, and Sasa Lukic, who missed the previous games, should remain sidelined. On the other side, Antonee Robinson will most likely be ready after missing the last game vs Everton.
