- Kick-off: 15:30 UTC / 16:30 CET
- Venue: Braga Municipal Stadium
Braga return home for the second leg with a problem to solve. The Minho Warriors trail Ferencvaros by two goals after the first meeting. Not a disaster, but certainly uncomfortable. European ties can shift quickly though, especially in Portugal where the crowd tends to amplify every moment. One early goal and the entire mood changes.
Domestically, Braga sit fourth in Liga Portugal. Ferencvaros are second in Hungary’s top flight. On paper, the Portuguese side might look slightly stronger. Bookmakers lean that way as well. Still, Robbie Keane’s Green Eagles showed real efficiency in the first leg. That performance alone suggests this tie may not follow the expected script.

Europa League
The first leg was actually the first time Braga and Ferencvaros had faced each other in any competition. So there is no deep history here.
That match produced an interesting statistical contrast. Braga controlled about 66 percent of possession and won eleven corners. However, both sides managed only three shots on target. The Minho Warriors had control, yes, but Ferencvaros looked sharper when chances appeared, winning 2-0.
Braga team overview
Braga have become a familiar name near the top of Portuguese football. Over the last seven seasons, the Minho Warriors have finished either third or fourth in Liga Portugal. This campaign seems to be following the same pattern. Braga sit fourth with a five point gap over Vitoria behind them.
Recent form, however, has not been perfect. Carlos Vicens’ side have won only two of the last five matches. Two defeats appear in that run. The defence has looked slightly fragile as well. Braga conceded at least two goals in four of those games.
There is some encouragement though. The Minho Warriors remain unbeaten in the last nine home matches and have won seven of those. That record alone keeps belief alive.
In terms of availability, Amine El Ouazzani remains sidelined after a metatarsal fracture and has now missed nineteen matches. Sikou Niakaté, Vítor Carvalho and Adrian Leon Barisic are also unavailable this week.

Ferencvaros team overview
Ferencvaros have ruled Hungarian football for a while now. The Green Eagles lifted the last seven league titles, which is not a small achievement, even if the domestic competition is sometimes questioned. This season looks familiar again. Ferencvaros sit just one point behind the leaders and still hold a game in hand.
Confidence seems high around Robbie Keane’s squad. The Green Eagles travel to Portugal on a six match winning streak. Three of those victories came away from home, and in each of those games Ferencvaros scored at least three goals. That suggests a side playing with freedom.
European trips have also gone well lately. Ferencvaros avoided defeat in eight of the last nine away matches in Europe, which is quietly impressive.
As for availability, Stefan Gartenmann remains sidelined after missing twenty six matches through injury. Lenny Joseph could start alongside Bamidele Yusuf, both already productive in this Europa League run.

Prediction
A draw looks very possible here. Braga are tough to beat at the Braga Municipal Stadium, and the Minho Warriors have gone nine home matches without defeat. Still, the defence has wobbled lately, conceding at least two goals in four of the last five games. Ferencvaros arrive confident, carrying six straight wins and scoring in eleven consecutive matches. A 2-2 result feels believable.
Three reasons we expect at least three goals in this game
- Ferencvaros have found the back of the net in each of their last 11 games.
- Four of the last five away games of Ferencvaros produced 4+ goals.
- Braga shipped at least two goals in four of their last five matches.
Main prediction Braga - Ferencvarosi TC
