Botafogo come into Wednesday’s Brasileirão Betano contest after a painful 4:1 defeat against Athletico last weekend. Trailing 2:1 at the interval, second-half goals from Lucas Esquivel and Juan Felipe Aguirre condemned the visitors to a heavy road defeat.
