Bologna vs Parma prediction 04.12.2025 | Coppa Italia

In the previous three seasons, Bologna have constantly been in the upper half of the league's table. However, last season, the Red and Blues were absolutely amazing, winning the Cup. That is their first major title since the 1998/99 season, when they won the Intertoto Cup. This season, they have been absolutely fantastic in Serie A, as they are sitting in 6th place with 24 points from 13 matches - just four points away from the top spot. They are generally on the rise despite losing their last game against Cremonese, which ended their 12-game unbeaten run. 

After a 3:1 loss against Cremonese, coach Vincenzo Italiano spoke to the media. He said they had a bad day and basically gave away the first two goals. The coach wasn't too unhappy with their performance, saying they haven't played poorly. 

Parma secured promotion to Serie A in the 2023/24 season and barely escaped relegation in the following season. This year, their relegation battle continued. After 13 rounds, they are in 17th place with 11 points - just one point away from the danger zone. Unlike Bologna, which will start Coppa Italia in this round, Parma have already played in two rounds, eliminating two Serie B teams - Pescara and Spezia. 

After a 2:0 loss against Udinese in the previous game, coach Carlos Cuesta spoke to the media. He said there were things missing today and said they really struggled to escape Udinese's pressing. "We're disappointed because we wanted to celebrate another result with our fans. We gave everything, and it wasn't enough. Now, it's back to work to be ready for Bologna," the coach added.
