Two Norwegian top flight sides separated by only one point meet on Saturday in Bodø Municipality as Bodø/Glimt play host to Sandefjord.
The hosts are currently in sixth place, which is a significant decline in form given that they have won the last two league titles. Kjetil Knutsen’s team boasts only six wins from eleven games so far, and enter Saturday’s fixture on a two-match winless streak. However, the Super Team should be motivated by the fact that four of their six wins so far this season came at this ground.
Meanwhile, Sandefjord enter Saturday’s game on the back of a comfortable 2:0 win over Rosenborg last weekend. The visitors will be looking for a similar outcome against the champions, but they have not won back-to-back league games since 11 May.
Bodø/Glimt vs Sandefjord Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
One of the main reasons why Bodo/Glimt are outside the top two is their defence and we saw a glimpse of that against Kristiansund last weekend. Even after taking the lead in the 9th minute, they failed to take home all three points, conceding a goal in stoppage time and extending their run without a clean sheet to two matches.
Aside from their current defensive weaknesses, Kjetil Knutsen’s team rarely keeps a clean sheet against Sandefjord. In fact, Bodø/Glimt have conceded a goal in each of the last six matches between the two teams. Five of those games ended with more than 2.5 goals, and I think Saturday’s game at the Aspmyra Stadium will have a similar outcome.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- Bodø/Glimt vs Sandefjord prediction: 3-1

Bodø/Glimt team news
Gaute Vetti has been out of action for Bodo/Glimt since November 2023 due to an ankle injury, and Saturday’s game comes too soon for him.
The hosts' absentee list also includes Odin Lurås Bjørtuft, who was sent off for two bookable offences against Kristiansund last weekend.

Sandefjord team news
Sandefjord have no long-standing injury problems, and they emerged unscathed from the 2-0 win over Rosenborg last time out.
Jakob Maslow Dunsby scored his third goal of the season in that game, while Sander Risan Mork scored his second.
