Middlesbrough continue their fight for Premier League promotion when they take on Birmingham on Monday evening.
The Boro make the trip to St. Andrew's after back-to-back Championship draws while Birmingham come into Monday´s fixture looking for a response after a disappointing road reversal at Millwall.
Birmingham have struggled in recent meetings between these sides, and will need to raise their game if they are to pick up a positive result this week.

Championship
Birmingham and Middlesbrough have met on ten occasions since 2020. Middlesbrough won seven of those matches, while Birmingham secured two victories.
Birmingham team overview
Birmingham return to home comforts after a 3:0 thrashing at Millwall last Wednesday. Three goals conceded in the first 49 minutes ensured a miserable day at the office for the Blues.
Chris Davies' side had enjoyed a fine ten game unbeaten run before their surprisingly one-sided defeat at the Den. The Blues have failed to win three of four recent fixtures, including a penalty shootout defeat against Leeds in the FA Cup
Particularly tough-to-beat in home fixtures, Birmingham lost just one of 16 home Championship fixtures at St. Andrew's this season. Seven of those games finished deadlocked.
Head coach Davies remains unable to call on long-term absentees Lee Buchanan and Ethan Laird.

Middlesbrough team overview
Middlesbrough travel to Birmingham aiming to respond after back-to-back home draws against Oxford and Leicester.
Boro have now gone three Championship matches without a win, following a 3:1 defeat in their top-of-the-table clash with Coventry earlier this month.
Despite that dip, Kim Hellberg’s side remain firmly in the promotion picture, sitting second in the standings and four points clear of third-placed Millwall.
Head coach Hellberg has no fresh injury issues this week.

Prediction
Middlesbrough are in better form, and they should emerge from Monday's Championship fixture with a positive result. An away win or draw is my top tip at St Andrew’s.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Middlesbrough to Win or Draw
- Middlesbrough are unbeaten in 7 of their last 8 matches
- Birmingham failed to win 3 of their last 4 matches
- Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last 6 matches against Birmingham
