Bayern Munich turn their attention to the DFB Pokal after a commanding 5:1 win against Hoffenheim last weekend. Luis Diaz was the star performer with the Colombian bagging a hat-trick while Harry Kane's brace of penalties added gloss to a dominant victory for the Bavarians. 

Before Saturday's victory, Vincent Kompany's side had dropped points in both of their two previous Bundesliga fixtures. Bayern remain six points clear of Dortmund, in a tightening title race.

High-scoring outcomes have been remarkably frequent in Bayern's fixtures this season. Incredibly, all but one of 35 games played this season finished with over 2.5 goals scored. More recently, 15 of 18 previous matches delivered a minimum of four goals scored.

While not quite as reliable as Bayern in the goal markets, Leipzig have seen over 2.5 goals in all but two of their last ten games. Against the hosts, five of their six most recent meetings finished with a minimum of four goals scored.

Leipzig boss Werner has four potential absentees this week. Assan Ouédraogo, Viggo Gebel and Ayodele Thomas are ruled out, while Castello Lukeba is doubtful.
