A huge clash in the battle for Spanish football's top prize takes place on Sunday afternoon, as Barcelona host Real Madrid in what will be the third El Clásico in 2025.
The previous two ties have all gone in Barcelona's favour, with Hansi Flick's men winning the Supercopa 5:2 in January before claiming a 3:2 victory in the Copa del Rey final a week ago.
Barca are favourites to pick up another win, but Sunday's game will be a real test for a young Blaugrana side who were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals by Inter in Italy after over 120 minutes of football in midweek. However, Hansi Flick will take heart from the fact that his side have come out on top in all the last four meetings between the two sides, scoring a total of 14 goals and conceding just five.
Real Madrid have fallen well short of expectations this season, with Ancelotti's men continuing to rely on luck and moments of brilliance from their stars. A good example is last weekend's 3:2 win at the Bernabéu where Celta Vigo found the back of the net twice and had plenty of clear-cut chances to level the game. Having said that, only four points separates Los Blancos from league leaders Barcelona, meaning a win for Ancelotti's side this weekend would keep alive their hopes of winning successive La Liga titles for the first time since 2007/08.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid Betting Tips: Over 3.5 goals
Barca conceded ten goals in their last four games alone, but boss Flick doesn't look like he'll be getting rid of that high defensive line any time soon. Offensively, there is no better side at the moment than the hosts, who boast 16 goals in their last six games alone. The Blaugrana also scored three or more goals in eight of their last ten home games, with seven of those games producing at least four goals.
- Best Tip: Over 3.5 goals
- Barcelona vs Real Madrid prediction: 2-2

Barcelona team news
Given the result and scoreline against Inter in the Champions League last time out, head coach Hansi Flick is expected to make changes to his XI this weekend.
Having featured as substitutes in that game, Gavi and Robert Lewandowski – who recently returned from injury – are among those who could be promoted into the XI.
Marc Bernal, Marc Casadó, Jules Koundé and Pablo Torre are all ruled out for the hosts this weekend due to injuries.

Real Madrid team news
Ferland Mendy has struggled with injury in recent seasons and Sunday's game will come too soon for the left-back.
Real Madrid have four other injuries in the defensive ranks with Daniel Carvajal, Eder Militão, Antonio Ruediger and David Alaba also in the treatment room.
Rodrygo missed last weekend's win over Celta Vigo with a fever, but the Brazilian is expected to recover in time for the trip to Barca.
